How this gets written, who wrote it, and what happens when it goes wrong.
Voice-first authorship.
It starts on my phone. I talk, the words get transcribed, and I bring them to a team of named AI agents I built myself. I was doing that before I understood how any of this worked......it just turned out to be how I think.
Leo researches. Ernie edits. Muse gets me unstuck. Trudy remembers what I said. Neo builds the files. They run on Claude and I run them. I move between Claude’s products and models depending on the job, so the one that made any given piece is named at the foot of that piece rather than here.
None of it came in a box. It’s a pile of documents I wrote myself, and settings I’m always fixing every time they update the environment they built. I fight it every day to do what I need.
I call it The Wire Method. What comes out of the phone is the wire......the shape of the thing, bent by hand. My agents pack the clay onto it. Then I work every inch of it back down myself. The thinking is mine and so is the last pass on every line......nothing goes out that I haven’t taken apart and put back the way I say things.
And I keep the mistakes. Not by writing them down......every session is logged with the time on it, so when one of my agents gets something wrong and I catch it, that sits in the record whether I’d want it there or not. A process you can only show the tidy parts of isn’t a process. It’s a brochure.
The full session log behind anything I publish goes to anyone who asks. Not a summary. The whole thing, minus anything that would put another person’s private business in it, because that part was never mine to give.
And here’s why I go this far. A man reading me about marriage can afford to be wrong about me. A man reading me about staying alive can’t.
